Spawn 185 sketch (CGC 9.8) just sold on eBay for $2,750.

 

WOW

 

What's the normal price???

 

And seems odd. Strange starting price, and only 1 bid.

 

Last copy sold for around $2,100 so a bit of a jump, but nothing crazy. For the hardcore Spawn collector with money to burn, this is pretty much the holy grail. Still can't believe I sold my raw copy for $50 :doh:

 

It's an awesome book! Here is my copy. :cloud9:

It wasn't South St, though I did get Preacher 1-5 there last week

Hah nah. There are only 4 stores in Philly. And no one really speculates in center city.

 

I do speculate in Center City, I don't live downtown anymore but I'm down there a few times a week (Fat Jack's has had nothing lately). I know of a couple shops in Philly and outside of the city that don't advertise, and you won't find 'em on a google search. I call it Lonzilla's Secret Stash lol

Fat Jack's has nothing because I moved in that big glass skyscraper around the corner. That's the first store I go to now as soon as I see anything because it's a 30 second walk hah. I don't have a car anymore, but Effin Comics has some gold to find. I picked up a few MoS #18 5th print for $3 each there this summer, but had to go because my phone was almost out of batteries and didn't know how to get back to Manayunk.

X-Factor 5 and 6 are first appearance of Apocalypse.

Yeah I already knew that. Except that was tweeted by Singer, so I'm not sure why he referred to it as a rumor. I figured his comment was about something else.

 

I imagine he will pop up at the end of the DOFP movie. A Back to the Future part II kind of thing where the X-Men return to the their respective appropriate points in time and think everything is good only to find out everything is still messed up in the future with Apocalypse having arrived/returned.

Yeah, I know. I've been grabbing higher grade copies whenever I can. It's just that with the movie announcement they'll get even hotter (and higher in price too).
