I can't make myself buy this book.

 

Wouldn't X-force 20 (vol. 1) be a better comic to get? XF 19 only has 1 panel of Copycat called Vanessa. Or is this the old mis-direction? Get forumites to buy XF 19 while we secretly buy 30 copies of XF 20?

Geez, a proper collection of Copycat's 1st appearance requires New Mutanta #98, X-Force #19 & #20!

 

That's until some writer reveals Copycat was also Aunt May in Amazing Fantasy #15.

And with good reason – the cover is so badly drawn it’s embarassing. As much embarassing as they were the first issues of X-Force and Spider-Man.

New Mutants #98 would be the winner but its already a winner so no increase in value. So, the other books that will be impacted are,

 

X-Force #19 = Incredible Hulk #180

X-Force #20 = nobody cares

Deadpool Circle Chase #2 = Uncredible Hulk #181 ( 1st full appearance and called by name )

 

Does that cover it or am I missing something ?

correct you are ..I just went by the Marvel Copycat notes and overlooked #2.. Im gonna make scans of 2 tonight and tell you my findings..

In any event.. those are all early appearances.. and IF in fact Copycat will play alongside Deadpool in te movie, those will be no brainer investment books at their current price.. Or maybe its a bit too late already on some (cough cough X-Force 19 cough)

Bane is more well known and appeared in two movies. What's a Vengeance of Bane 1 9.8 go for? Can the first appearance of "Copycat" get to half that?
