TFAW is VF comic central, and they also only guarantee VF copies via delivery. Can never get a good copy from them. They are usually one of my last resorts.

 

I got lucky. Out of 5 books I had 2 King Conan hour of the Dragon #1 that I had signed and they graded a 9.8. But you are right they only guarantee VF and ship in envelopes.

 

I bought those Spidergwen and Silk connecting covers from Hastings and they were vf when I got them and came in an envelope.

Give it a few years of sitting in long boxes getting smashed. You should see the x-force #1's I see at lcs over the years and you'd be lucky to find one NM out of 100's. lol

9.4 - 9.6 in my opinion using http://comicspriceguide.com/comic-book-grading. I've never had a book graded so I am a novice at that. It's a great collection copy 'fo 'sho

Next thing you know you're checking for grade updates daily from CGC on submissions!
