Does anyone know how many of these Wytches #4 EH error variants were produced ? I've only seen this one for sale so far on ebay.

There's one boardie that should know! (thumbs u

Read Secret Wars #0 (FCBD) and #1 today. Starts off with a bang.

So, any thoughts on which cover to by for this series? Seems like there are more and more every day.

This'll be a good one for me: SECRET WARS #1 (OF 8) ZDARSKY PARTY SKETCH VAR

though I imagine, these will be in demand:

I haven't like many of the "party" variants, so I don't follow them, but have any gone up in value? From what I see, most have gone down significantly. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=party+variant&LH_Complete=1&LH_Sold=1&rt=nc

WTH is a Party variant?

The party variants are good to flip ASAP but if you hold onto them too long, you'll be keeping them. Even the 1 per store sketch variants drop like a stone fast, except for the WD ones

if people saw stacks of Batman 40 Mask on the day it came out and flipped them quickly they'd have made some money. Anyways if you bought them and the price adjusted downward I would never feel bad holding extra Batman 52.

The regulars will make a nice set with the combos out next week.

I don't mind holding Batman comics, especially this arc. It will always sell and appreciate IMHO.

Agreed. This is one of those "once a decade" runs that really matter in the long run. People won't forget these and they will likely always be in demand.

So far Snyder has three of the "once a decade" arcs in the first 40 issues IMHO - Court/Night of Owls; Death of the Family; and this one.

He's good. :headbang:

This is the opinon of everyone who has read New 52 Batman.

I wonder if the people who think these books will be in dollar bins at the end of the summer have read them yet?

there's a ton of people who think all modern is automatically garbage (many are), and all main titles are way overprinted (not as much as you think, but sometimes [usually involving superman or green lantern]. those people generally don't read new comics, or only read the titles that they've read for 40 years and moan about kids playing on their lawn. Anyone who thinks Batman is going to the dollar bins hasn't been paying attention, as DC chose them to BE THE FIRST COMIC to go to $5 per issue, and it is STILL DOMINATING. Will every issue be a hit? still no. Does that mean there are zero comic stores in the country without Batman's in the dollar bins? Of course not. But this storyline has been hot, and more importantly, a compelling read.

Those are the Pepoy Archie's.

Pretty sure Zenescope exists solely because the panty variants are actually the regular edition.

The variants don't need 'em.

Well, just sold a Batman #40 movie-poster cover to a zero-FB buyer, and after the auction is over, they tell me they want to wait until next week to pay. It says in my auction you have 7 days to pay, but... I am not getting a good feeling on this. By next week, these may be cover-price books.

:(

And they sell like hotcakes when they're offered up on the Modern B/S/T thread! I understand why...but it still amazes me

And don't forget Snyder's "Black Mirror" storyline in Detective Comics before that. Knocked it out of the park on his first at bat.

Hmm I have a Batman 40 Variant from someone who got a best offer accepted, and never paid. I'll pm you the name. Change your adds on all listings to a shorter term for payment. Any longer must be negotiated. "Zero Feedback Buyers will be removed unless you contact me before bidding" is a good one to have, and file an unpaid notice 48 Hours before your current 7 day deadline. If they don't pay you can have it close the case at the very end so you don't have to wait like I am right now. has until tomorrow to pay me.

That's a lot of work for $35...

Already made my money back on Fett and 1 1:25 Bat 40 so I'm good!

All 5 local stores Sold Out btw.

JL #40 1:25 for myself. I also pulled the only 9.6/9.8 looking regular cover, but the Magic Mike Variant one was gone. While everyone is still distracted I suggest you scoop these while they are cheap.
