Those X-Men, Dark Phoenix saga through Days Of Future Past and Miller's Daredevil changed my whole perspective of what comic books should be and got me into collecting seriously. It led me to discovering Starlin's run on Warlock, Gerber's Man-Thing & Omega The Unknown, books that are still among my favorite reads to this day

This book has been heating up a little or at least selling for as much or a little more than it used to sell for.

Marvel Collectible Classics Chromium #2 which reprints Uncanny X-Men #141 & #142. The Days of Future Past Story Arc. These used to sell for around $30 then they dropped off to around $20 to $25 for the past year or so now they're starting to sell for around $40+ delivered.

Happy to see this book increase in value. Its been on the low end for years while the McFarlane Spidey 300 has regularly sold over $100 easy.

Still to this day there isn't much that can compare to them.

Supply meet demand? Seriously they didn't make a lot of these.

They made a TON of X-men 141-142. Which BTW in NM is pulling almost $100 currently makes me almost want to sell my run now.

Black Science #2 Cover A seems to be doing pretty well.

Black Science #2 Cover A $11.95

Black Science #2 Cover A $12.99

Why just the A covers? Weren't the A and B printed 50/50?

That happens time to time. I remember Cap America 25, and BatmanSuperman 1 was like that, where one cover brings more money then the other in a 50/50 split.

Cover B is actually the hotter of the two. According to discussion in the Black Science thread the print run was originally supposed to be split evenly between the A and B covers, as it was for issue #1 (ignoring the variants), but apparently that went out the window and most retailers ended up getting shortchanged on cover B. So it has become an incentive variant of sorts. Of course nobody knows the number breakdown between the two covers, but cover B is definitely the lower printed of the two.

Both are worth grabbing for cover though, as this book likely saw a significant drop in print number from issue 1 to issue 2 but reviews have brought demand back to it. The 2nd print for the first issue releases next week with the 2nd print for issue 2 releasing towards the end of January, I believe.

+1

I have been picking up extra copies of 2 B at Midtown Comics, as most of the people selling #2 on Ebay are selling the A cover. I have noticed a lot of these books were damaged, took me a while to pick out 5 nice copies.
