For fun I will list this one book tonight. I planned on sending it to CGC but I just want to see what our little market here will Offer for it. If no takers then off to CGC.

 

Very Solid book. Staples firmly attached to cover and centerfold. The book lays very flat and I don't think pressing will improve the grade. Two tiny tears, some creasing, some spine wear and a dirty back cover.

 

There is lots of GPA data on this book for this year. Seems to be pretty hot.

 

Guide Value in 3.0 is $1260 and 4.0 is $1680 SOLD

 

I feel pretty comfortable at 3.5 on this one. The scanner makes the back cover look worse than it presents in hand. CGC is so unpredictable it could come back 4.5

The pages are very nice. I'm going to say Off white to White for the most part. Maybe the slightest hint of Creme to Off White at some of the edges.

GPA prices seem very weak compared to Overstreet's. I know lower grade books sell at a discount to guide, but even so, it seems too weak to me. Am I missing something?

I'm with you. DC does not get as much respect as Marvel. But it is what it is and all I can go by for sales data is GPA.

 

Someone can get a steal here per Overstreet prices.

Any bid under $800 is what I used to pay 16 years ago for Show # 8 when they would sell for over guide, as "scarce." Equivalent to ASM #1 2nd Spidey.
