But I got it from a local store for $2, so that makes 2011 the best year of my comic collecting life - to this point.

This was my first year of getting SS books done. I managed to get a lot of great books (thanks to NYComics, GACollectibles, Rich Henn, and DWC for helping me build my collection). Out of all the books I got this year this one is one of the few SA books I have done, and it is certainly now the most irreplaceable in my collection. RIP Gene and Joe.

I haven't had much time to buy comics or attend conventions in the last couple years due to work. Now that 2011 is almost other though, I was able to score a few books this month that I feel helps end the year well for me anyhow.

 

It's not a first issue but I really wanted the signatures (I think 2012 is going to be a year of signatures for me).
