Horror Grading?

nice looking for that book, depending on what the top left & bottom left really look like i'd say 8.0-8.5

The bottom left corner has just a touch to it.

It's not a hard bang.

There is a very slight color loss on that corner, but not as bad as the scan made it look.

 

The white on the top right corner was the tip folded over in the mylar.

I have since flipped it back over, and there is a line of color loss where it was bent.

But it is just the tip.

Depending on the back cover being in nice shape with no real defects, I'd say 8.5 to 9.0 from what I can see.

That is a great cover. Going by the large scan of the front cover, the book should grade at the very least 8.5, but IMO it looks closer to a VF/NM.

I go with these last two guys, 8.5 - those jet black covers show even the slightest breath of a spine tick - and this one looks nice.

Another defect to note.

Look in the center of the memo.

There is a light abrasion in the "D" of "Days".

 

That seems to be it for problems.

Very flat with no nut sacks.

If the abrasion is not production related, then I say 8.0 to 8.5 but not 9.0. Color missing from part of the cover gets downgraded pretty heavily.

i thought 8.0 - 8.5 from the beginning and will go with 8.0 based on the abrasion, which i missed.......... cool cover

He's rough and he's tough - but a straight shooter. I'd come down to a 7.5 to 8.0, after the color loss / smudge in the memo was pointed out - I missed that!
