Any idea when the books are going to ship from the IDW store?

 

I just spoke to our completely overworked shipping guy and he tells me they will start going out end of next week. When you see the packing job you'll know why it takes a little while to get them out.

Depends how fast my Signed copy gets to me and what it looks like when it does. lol

The packing job on my Wood and Romita books couldn't have been better. There was absolutely no way they could have been damaged in transit, save for being run over by a forklift truck. Each book comes in its own box, and both boxes were secured within a much larger shipping box with something like 6" of padding on all sides. Perfection!

I just received my John Romita Artist’s Edition today and I am blown away. It is just incredible to look at. And the MJ sketch is perfect! Many thanks to Scott and Mike for helping me out with the book.

Got my Romita book today. It has a different sketch than the ones offered on the IDW site.

 

It's a 1/2 Spidey 1/2 Peter Parker head sketch with the spidey sense tinging.

 

Not a complaint, because I like that image and it's a signature Romita head sketch, just a little surprised since I was expecting the spidey sketch on the site.

FYI, most of the head shots were variations of the one on our site. Much less of the "50/50" sketches. Congrats.

I had to wait until Tuesday, April 9th, but I finally got my copy with my MJ head sketch.

 

If you are interested, you can see her on this link and why I'm so glad to get it (non-Spidey fan that I am). Also, clicking supports the CAF so do that if you aren't interested in the sketch. :)
