What's crazy is that the guy has 1200 of them. He's got to have a ton invested in them

Give them another 40 years. I'm sure Edgar Church's family laughed at him too.

I hope to be around in forty and I'll eat my words if they're fetching Mile High prices (thumbs u

:gossip: Think we stand a better chance of seeing beanie babies shoot up in value and that's about 1 in a gazillion.

I don't get it.

The seller seems to be somewhat reasonable in his asking price. I have never even heard of these things but it's not like he's asking insane $. Even if they are only worth $5 I’ve seen much worse craigslist listings.

I guess we could start several threads a day about craigslist insanities but this does not appear to fall into that category.

What the hell is a pog?

It's the newest sensation amongst Japanese teens.

Pogs are milk caps that have a picture on one side. You and a friend combine your pogs into a pile and stack them up.

You then take turns using an extra thick or metal cap called a "Slammer" and you slam it on top of the pile. The pogs fly up in the air and the ones that land upside down are the ones the slamming party gets to keep.

Just you wait until this sensation sweeps across the US. Kids everywhere will be playing this game and these limited edition milk caps will be worth thousands of dollars each.

Actually the Japanese kids have been playing a form of pogs called Menko cards

since the 17th Century. When I lived in Japan in the 70's we used to play for

hours until someone won all the cards or we collapsed from exhaustion. lol I had

a nice collection of menkos as a kid but must have traded them for something

like comics or baseball cards. Here are some I still have.

[font:Book Antiqua]It’s the right asking price for this type of collection...

for some people pogs (Tazos) are collectable.

It’s the old:

“What I collect rules,

what you collect suck” [/font]

;)
