Assuming no trick back-covers or clipped MVS, I'd go with:

However, A doesn't bother me so much.

I like E better, but if the book is cut right, I don't mind the staple running to the front or back a little.

I would have no problem owning A if it came down to it.

Uh, I'm still waiting for them to load . . . A nice group of books, all NM 9.4 White or better, that I sold for a song (sorry Dice) to gain some credibility on eBay in the beginning - about two years and 1200 sales ago. . .
