...would sckao please report to the scorers table?..... doh!

What happened?

(You changed the scoring by adding in the .2 differential and the spreadsheet array formula lookup probably didn't get totally updated...)

I apologize about the confusion. :sorry:

I had to calculate the scores manually. There seems to be an error in the spreadsheet tabulation which gave a couple players 15 points instead of 10. Nothing I do can get it to tabulate correctly automatically.

Smokin'

I had the third highest score and I go home.

I changed the second book from 9.0 to 9.2 just before I hit the submit button. Luck for you.

Congrats. Now go represent and kick these guy's asses.

 that last 9.0 was ugly

 Tell me about it. I crashed and burned on that comic. :pullhair:

I spent more time this round staring at the slabs trying to figure out if it was a

scratch on the case or on the comic. Good luck to the Elite 8! :applause:

Wow, not one bullseye this round and I still moved on. I agree with porky that is one ugly 9.0. Sometimes having the book in hand it looks better then on screen. I also can't believe my FF 95 is a 9.4 and that book is a 9.6.

Actual vs my grades guesses:

Fantastic Four #95 OW-W 9.6 - 9.4

Fantastic Four #114 OW-W 9.0 - 9.2 (can't believe I bumped this one to a 9.2)

Giant Size Defenders #5 W 9.6 -9.4

Tales of Suspense #78 OW-W 9.0 - 8.0 :tonofbricks:

I am definitely lucky to be moving on in this round.

here are my guesses

Etanick

SE region

round of 16

Fantastic Four #95 OW-W - 9.6 waffling from 9.2 to 9.4 and then up to 9.6.

Fantastic Four #114 OW-W - 9.0 highly confident

Giant Size Defenders #5 W - 9.6 highly confident

Tales of Suspense #78 OW-W - 8.5 waffling from 9.0 to 8.0 and then back up to 8.5....the damn production flaws on the spine was tough to ignore but the potential of the thumb print on the top edge was a bigger question mark.

glad to make it to the final 8...better luck with my contest Ark :wishluck:

Good game Flee, I was way off on the TOS too (7.5).

This is really the first book I took exception to. If the URC on the FF 114 actually was NOT a crease what dropped it to the same grade as the TOS 78 that had 3 separate 1 inch color abrasions on the spine and a fuggly URC??

If that had been one of my SA DC's from 7 years ago it would have ben lucky to pull a 7.0...that book really scared me and deservedly so... :P

My congrats to all who advanced and to my opponent (Flat Rock) who blessedly decided to get into yet another defensive struggle with me...

How can a poor small school from the Patriot League, shuffled out to the NW, ever hope to compete with the Mighty Divad for a Final Four spot... ???
