I really wanted that book from this dude, too. It was a GA Submariner that had the first appearance of the ankle wings. It was long enough ago that I probably was fixated on GPA or guide or some combination thereof.

 

And leave off my wiles, or I'll bump the Moves Like Jagger thread . . .

I didn't hear back from him about possibly adding a few more books and working a group deal but he did accept the two "best offers" that I put in the other day. I'm pretty sure this is the 1st time EVER that I've had a best offer accepted :banana:

I don't know him but he bought a book on Comiclink that I wanted and then put it up for sale a day or two later on eBay for more than $200 for what he bought it for. He likely didn't have the book in hand when he posted it on eBay. (shrug)

Thanks! The Curators are as nice as you can get! I also have the Curator 22 and 45 but that's it. You don't see them very often for sure. I can't remember where but I did just see an early Avengers 9.8 Curator but it was like 15k so definitely out of my price range! :o

Yeah, but you outbid him. Now all you need to do is list the book on either Pedigree or eBay so he'll buy it and then he'll offer it up again. It can be an infinite loop.

I just won a book from this guy on eBay, fair and square.  I paid via Paypal immediately.  

He cancelled the transaction, claiming the book was no longer available, when actually he just wasn’t happy with the hammer price.  

Unethical LOSER.
