Great report Richard! I'm so jealous of the Sinnott sketch!

 

Thanks, I'm very happy with it. He was apologetic for having to use a Sharpie, but he needed to for the sake of speed to get everyone done. That's his 'quick' as opposed to detailed sketch. He still has tons of control and great line quality.

I got to talk with Joe once at a very small art show. What a great guy.

After missing his last local appearance, I was thrilled to finally meet and chat with Joe Sinnott. What a pleasure. There with other family members, I got a book from his granddaughter Erin and this sketch from him.

Paul Coker and his wife were fab; I picked up this Frosty print for my boy.

 

 

 

 

man, I wish I could figure out how to get in touch with him. This was my 2-year old's absolute favorite christmas special this year. It's all she wanted to watch. Would love to get some Frosty art in a commission.

You know, I was kinda bummed that I couldn't go. It's only a couple hour drive for me. After hearing some of the comments, it sounds like maybe I was better off not going.

Didn't notice you there. I did spot a few other boardies but kept a low profile.

 

Late Sunday morning remembered I was in such a rush to leave I forgot to put any deodorant on. I'd become on of those con goers. Luckily, I didn't sweat much and usually don't get too stinky when I do.
