I'm not sure what the purpose of this thread is, but I'm curious as to what this issue looks like and generally goes for price-wise. The Smurfs are pretty huge world-wide, eh?

I actually picked up a copy of this on eBay (worldwide setting). Of course, there are only two pages of the story where the Smurfs appeared. That's how the Belgian comics did it back then. I can't remember what I paid, but against all American experience, the price wasn't that high considering the movie was out at the time. :eyeroll:

 

And checking my index, it was actually issue 1071. Sorry for all the confusion this must have created.

If you look at the list what stands out?

There really aren`t that many keys in the 70+ years that comic books have been around.

That`s why I continue to see the Walking Dead leapfrogging over most of them to be one of the top keys of all time. 2c
