I hate that anybody dies, but when guys start dying young, who are around my same age, it stops to make you think.

The Beastie Boys were for sure a huge part of my teen years.

I saw RUN-DMC and the Beastie Boys in 1986 in Orlando. I still have the ticket stub around here somewhere.

RIP brother.

I talked to a buddy of mine from high school who I haven't talked to in a couple of years. We agreed - the Beasties were the soundtrack to virtually every bad thing we did for about a year and a half.

The NY Mets are going to dedicate their next game to MCA. every player will walk out to the plate to a beasties song for the next 3 DAYS! that's is REALLY COOL.

[font:Comic Sans MS]I grew up on the BBoys. I think it's great that the Mets are gonna do this.

RIP MCA[/font]

The Beastie Boys were a huge part of my life and massive in Australia when I was a teenager. I used to get around in a green army jacket with a huge VW logo around my neck lol . Car logo's were getting stolen from cars in huge amounts then.

They definitely broke the mould with "Licence to ill". Me and all my mates wanted to be as bad as they were.

Very sad and way to young....
