Thanks for asking!

First my favorite characters...then if it was a #1...a title I

didn't have and then just the cover.

Thanks Marty! What were your favorite characters and why? (I love hearing about what drove people to grab certain books. For me, I was focused on quantity, as many books as I could get!).

Hey Marty,

I'm just lurking here in the background but I want to say, "Thank you!", for posting these comics. Origional owner collections are the best and I appreciate the effort it takes to post pictures.

Thanks! :applause:

I had to pick these off the newsstand!

I like that EC cover. I purchased one and sold it several years ago. I tried to buy another one on ebay but was outbid every time.

I enjoy the EC Shock and Horror series.

Here is another one that you couldn't miss on the newsstand...great black

cover.

I like the early Green Hornet covers that look like pulps. The cover above is more difficult to get than the Schomburg covers.

There was a time when the corner store sold "remainder books"

for 5 cents each...and since I was more interested in the story,

the missing portion of the book didn't really matter to me.

Here is one that seems to be of interest today.

That one sells in almost any condition. I think the Batman 62 (Catwoman origin) does well too. I guess DC thought since the superhero origin stories did well, such as Batman 47 and Superman 53, they could make a little more cash by reintroducing the villians. If the Joker was actually on the cover of Detective 168, it probably would even sell higher.

One of the best issues in the run.

I agree with Larry. I like that cover very much and I have a copy in my collection which will be one of the last to go. I don't care if he is a fake Two-Face or not.
