Still no grades...should see them next week.

While going through my collection I ran across my copies of Briefer's

FRANKENSTEIN, #'s 1 through #6. I always thought this was a very amusing

comic character. Doesn't seem to be much interest in it nowadays.

I love the cover to #1, and would love to see your copy. But I think most collectors are more interested in the early Briefer Frankenstein stories in Prize, and the later Pre-Code run. The comedy issues aren't too interesting(at least to me).

I like the Frankenstein stories, horror and funny. Briefer was so talented, he could do both.

I think the horror stories probably sell better but the humor stories are unique.

Can only find one PRIZE COMIC in my collection, #27 from January, 1943.

The FRANKENSTEIN story has a tease at the end: :An old friend returns...

Bulldog Denny...to pit his resources against the Monster. What can he do?

He'll be here next issue." Anyone know if Bulldog Denny "...stopped the

monster"?

Really good stuff in PRIZE COMICS, I don't know why I only bought this one.

Briefer was worried about the plot too (from Prize 30).

Next up for grading ALL WINNERS #4 and COMIC CAVALCADE #12.

After that I'm not sure...I had planned to send in CAPTAIN MARVEL

ADVENTURES #54 for grading, but I've changed my mind.

I have 8 other FLASH COMICS that I might consider...but then there

are others that are also my favorites.

No I'm not planning to sell right now after having my books

for nearly 70 years...but I do want to get the better condition

ones in my collection graded for the future.

Thanks for asking.

fantastic...just curious...nice to own books for 70+ years... I have an 86 year old customer that has been buying comics since the mid/late 40's and still makes his monthly pilgrimage to my store to purchase the latest comics! He says he still has many comics from his childhood (thumbs u

Someone provided me with a scan. I like that cover a lot.

After the above two I need to decide which ones to send in for

grading. The choice is between BATMAN #48...ALL-STAR #40

...TERRY-TOONS #38 ...or, CAPTAIN AMERICA #64...all should

come in between 6.0 and 7.0...any ideas?
