Looking at this, it's difficult for me to believe that it's been 70 years since I picked

it off the newsstand and even more difficult to believe I'm able to show a picture

This, along with CAPTAIN MIDNIGHT #60 were the first "Flying Saucer" comics

I ever bought...this was something new in 1948.

You must be pretty young. I had that done many years ago. No more fatty foods...eliminating the pain associated with the jammed up bile ducts is worth the operation.

Being laid up for awhile made me remember that back when I was a kid,

whenever I was home sick, someone would always seem to bring me a

DISNEY comic...I guess at that time adults felt it was a get well book.
