I believe this might be the first new style EC Comic that I bought off the newsstand...

as most of my EC's are remainder copies.

Back from vacation...only got the chance to visit one comic store...MIKE'S COMICS &

COLLECTABLES in Orlando...a huge collection of statues and figures...great location!

Ran across this, not that it's all that important, but I believe it is the first mention of THE BLACK CANARY. (From FLASH COMICS #86)

I discover something I never knew ...or forgot I knew...like the fact that reprints of

M.C. GAINES "PICTURE STORY FROM AMERICAN HISTORY" appeared in both

SENSATION COMICS and FLASH COMICS. This page is from SENSATION #45.

Here's a list of 1945 publications from ALL-AMERICAN including PICTURE STORIES FROM

Just had a chance to re-read this book after all these years...very interesting and dated.

I believe that other than my early SHADOW COMICS this is the only STREET & SMITH

PUBLICATION in my collection.
