So, what is the most recent book in your stash from your buying off the newsstand. This one is from early 1952. It seems later than the bulk of the books you've posted, no?

As best as I can tell, I believe SHOCK SUSPENSTORIES #8 from 1954 was the last GA

comic bought from the newsstand...WEIRD SCIENCE-FANTASY #26 I bought directly

from EC by mail.

I purchased this issue individually...I was in the NAVY stationed in Key West and

read about this Special Edition in a newspaper...wrote to EC requesting a copy...

I enclosed a dime for it and received it within a couple of weeks...no I did not save

the mailing envelope...who knew it would be worth anything?

I added my two copies in order to compare the colors. I like both but assume your copy is more like what was on the news stand.
