One of those comics that I bought and then searched the newsstands for future issues but

never found...I understand that there was a number 2 but I never saw it.

These newspaper reprints show you that the violence in comic strips didn't

start in comic books.

I would guess that most all of my 15 cent comics were bought for me while shopping

with my Grandmother...I really don't remember any that I bought with my own money.

My grandpa bought me a whole lot of comics especially after dinner and a few drinks at the cigar store. He paid a whole quarter for my first MAD magazine.
