It appears that HARVEY had a habit of offering subscriptions to titles just

before they were cancelled.

Interesting. Adds to the mystery, imo, of what happened at Harvey to cause the split with S&K. I'd hate to have signed up for that 25-issue sub!

If I had subscribed to STUNTMAN COMICS I would have gotten ISSUE #3.

Even though these contained reprints of earlier newspaper strips,

they were ones that I had never read but contained characters that

I was familiar with...and there was a lot of variety in each issue.

TERRIFIC ISSUES! :applause::applause::applause::applause::applause:

Good point. I'm not sure whether that label note is meant to alert someone that the book has a hidden flaw (the way they sometimes point out that a puzzle in a kids book has been filled in), or as an indication that the book comes from a particular collection whose owner used that code in keeping track of his books. Or maybe some of both.

On the cover of D ICK TRACY MONTHLY #19 it states "Beginning With This

Issue - Entire Contents Brand-New and Original". Going through the book it's

obvious that the art is not reprinted...any idea who did the writing and art?
