I wouldn't even offer that. The Star Wars, Jonah Hex, Amazing Adventures (to a degree) & Shazam are all highly overpriced in the guide. They are common books that were hot at one time, shot up in value & have never had the price drop correction that they should.

 

I'd offer about 35%-40% of guide & pass if he wanted more. It can all be picked up on ebay for cheap.

Fair price is $60. Hassle free buy and flip price is $20. This assumes VG to VF. If unread NM type books then a lot higher, but I doubt that is the case. If water damage, major wear then worthless other than as readers.
