Stan Lee - Secret Spawn Creator?

Was looking at GPA for Spawn #1 and saw this....

 

Does that mean Stan lee? I love getting Stan to sign my stuff as much as anyone, but I don't get this at all. There have been jokes about giving Stan a DC comic since he will sign anything, but really?

I can't remember, but is there are Jim Lee pinup in Spawn #1? That might explain it.

Quite possibly it refers to Jim Lee, a co-owner of Image at the time of Spawn's publishing.
