Once inside the building, I gave Paul ('Toon Tumblers) a ring and I had badge in hand. It is a strange experience walking around this show during setup time due to to sheer size of the show. Random cool display...

This place can be nutty during setup. Tons of security guards, fork lifts, electrical runners, guys on bicycles, construction, and so on.

When in Rome...

After walking the floor a bit and getting some stuff set up, Paul, Jeff, and I made our way back to the hotel and later were off for dinner - I forgot where we ate that night, strangely enough,

 

Adventure Time!

After dinner it was off to the hotel and a fairly early night...sort of. Face it, no one sleeps much right before or during this show.

No expense spared on advertising at SDCC. This 'little' banner is nothing compared to some others.

Next morning it was off to setup the 'Toon Tumblers booth. The floor as setup takes place.

There was a large four wall setup where people could place Lego bricks on. A few Lego staffers were responsible for taking down every piece each day. Tedious.

This is from the Mile High booth. Some metal filing cabinets converted to hold comics. A good idea for making more use of your space and people can just pull out the entire drawer. Someone had a moment of clarity.
