Beige Posted June 25, 2013 Author Share Posted June 25, 2013 Cool Just sold pretty much my last lot of Bedlam #1 - a guy in Queensland took 10 so I'm pretty happy with the result. I guess I have about 15 left - those will be kept until/if the prices pick up. It was a big risk, but after 25 odd sales then the rest was cream, so job done with Bedlam. I look forward - actually no - I can't wait for the next issue - I love this book. Question for you Ryan, what do you think of: 1) The Bounce 2) Collider 3) Helheim 4) Sex 5) The Strangers 6) Lazarus Personally - 2,3 and 5 for me have promise - your thoughts? Cheers matey! HarveySwick Posted June 25, 2013 Share Posted June 25, 2013 I've seen prices slowly ticking back up, had I sold mine as soon as I got it back from cgc I would be kicking myself. I think after the summer things will pick up as a whole on the secondary market. +1 IMO this book is just to good to be selling for these prices. Is the story ok? ya I enjoyed it, #2 is out real soon and I hope it continues to be good.....this may be a keeper.....for me anyways. I still say Sex is a fun read. Take out the "sex"and there is still a cool story there. I thought the first issue had promise - I agree, 'Sex' is a daft name - anyway, I have slabbed a couple so I look forward to where this book goes. Bounce - I liked it. Very cool, matrix-type tone. Collider - Too early to tell. Need to read it first Helheim - under-rated IMHO. I love Viking stuff and this one is a winner to me. Sex - next... I was hoping that someone would know more - we are in the same boat mate - I have one on order at my LCS - so I should get it in 2014 Sex was that bad? I was happy to give it another issue but it is Joe Casey........ Congrats on your selling thread btw (hint - go look hint hint) you are selling seriously good books at seriously cheap prices!
