[Phill the Governor]

Action 113. Bought it ten years ago - first "big money comic I bought"

I believe the staples are rusted. The right Front Cover looks like there is a water stain.

There's no moisture damage on the book. The rust on the staples is minor, there's no rust at the centerfold, and certainly no rust migration.

 

There is, however, a 1inch spine split that starts about a 1/2 from the top of the spine and runs the length of the circular logo.

I'm with a GA 4.5/5.0.

I was going to say a 4.5 but I think with the spine split it may drop it to a 4.0 or lower...

 

Very nice eye appeal though!

I understand you believe there is no moisture damage but the rusted staple is direct evidence of this. In this grade however I don't believe it is that significant. Considering the other defects commonly associated with this grade, I'd say it is in the 4.5 range.

It's fine - I don't care disclosing price on a book like this. I paid $140 for it in 2003.
