DC Entertainment announces that the monthly We Can Be Heroes Blank Variant Covers now will begin with September's BATMAN #0.

 

"After rush soliciting the JUSTICE LEAGUE #12 WE CAN BE HEROES BLANK VARIANT COVER EDITION for August on sale, we decided that this campaign would be better served by starting with a full solicitation in Previews," says Bob Wayne, DC's SVP — Sales.

 

All orders placed for the rush solicited JUSTICE LEAGUE #12 We Can Be Heroes Blank Variant Cover edition are cancelled.

 

As a reminder, the We Can Be Heroes Blank Variant cover editions will feature a wraparound blank cover printed on heavy cover stock with a matte finish, with the We Can Be Heroes banner at the top. One DC Comics title will be offered with a We Can Be Heroes Blank Variant cover edition each month for twelve months. For every variant edition sold, $1.00 will go to benefit the people of the Horn of Africa.

 

The We Can Be Heroes Blank Variant cover editions do not require any qualifying order; retailers may order as many of these as they wish.

 

The BATMAN #0 WE CAN BE HEROES BLANK VARIANT COVER EDITION (JUL120156) is on Final Order Cutoff on August 20 and is scheduled to arrive in stores on September 12.

Maybe theyre working on putting another logo in there. They have the "we can be heroes" banner at the top. The New 52 thrown in above the lousy Justice League logo. Theres definitely room for more!

This is honestly stupid.......basically derails quite a few things for me. And I do not really want to pay $10 more per book sent to cgc for fast track when clearly everyone is doing which is why cgc is behind months as the regular orders are stacking up in the warehouse.

Batman Zero looks to be on track. And it'll be coming out right before a local con.

I really should have gotten more of the JLA blanks. I was having a hard time with spending $20 for them and now if you can find one sellers seem to want $35+
