So many people seem to be wishing for The Walking Dead to fall. I'm sorry that you didn't grab one before the price shot through the roof, really, i am. C'mere, you need a hug? Wash the Crow off your hands first and I may let you hold mine, through the bag of course.

Thanks for showing your to the boards and simultaneously making one of the least correct statements possible.

Here's a tip: when you have no idea who you are talking to or what they collect or own it's probably unwise to whip it out like this. It's better to keep silent and have people think you are lacking, than to lay the gherkin on the table and remove all doubt.

Owning something doesn't mean you are required to lie about it and call it the first bulletproof collectible in the history of mankind. I refuse to compromise my integrity on the hopes I make an extra buck. Then again maybe you are light in that area too. So make your own choice.

I said "seem". Read slower. And it absolutely seems like there are some people on this thread who are rooting for the walking dead to plummet in value based on what they are posting. You're not necessarily one of those people. I have not called you out by name. but Comix4fun, Here's a tip: Don't walk around like the all knowing comic authority and king of the boards. And try to be a little less of an individual_without_enough_empathy.

Nice backpedal.

Apology accepted.

I only spoke to you in individual_without_enough_empathy because individual_without_enough_empathy seems to be the only language you speak.

Also when it comes to these boards , and who's and authority and who isn't, it's like MMA for nerds. You earn it.

The next time you want to give someone advice, don't. Unless it's for comedic purposes.

Fortunately for you I am fluent in individual_without_enough_empathy. MMA for nerds? Now that would be entertaining. I did not apologize in fact I called you an individual_without_enough_empathy. You desperately need to reread my posts and your own. You were wrong about about the walking dead video game, the crow and about me. You may want to reconsider posting any more advice considering your track record of being wrong.

This is the last thing I'm going to say on the subject:

I like the walking dead. I enjoy the comics, the show and the telltale game. I look forward to the story developing further. I have enjoyed collecting and selling the comics and I could honestly give a rats what history has taught us as far as the strength of a comic book as an investment. I love my copy of Walking Dead #1 just as much now as when raw copies were going for $200 to $300 bucks a few years ago, which is when i purchased my copies. I'm not selling mine. A lot of people thought this book hit its peak at $1000 dollars. Guess they were wrong. $2000? hmmmm guess they were wrong about that too. Will it ever see $4000 i don't know and guess what... neither do you. If you don't have one and want one

I suggest you do like I did. Search ebay for raw copies listed in NM/M, buy tickets to a comic convention that Robert Kirkman and Tony Moore are going to be at, get a hotel, fly out to said convention, get them signed and witnessed and graded, keep the nicest one for yourself and sell the rest to pay for your expenses. Bam! Free copy! Don't hate the player, hate the game. Now I'm going to get off the computer before this erupts into MMA for nerds. Wait, isn't that called pro wrestling?

You are literally in another county with all the backpedaling you are doing.

Sure, don't bother siting what you're talking about. The statement and the facepalm i'm sure is enough. How have I contradicted myself? Use quotes. Show me what you and comix4fun are referring too. My stance has always been the same.

I'm going to spell it out for you because Comix4fun is drinking your milkshake. All of it. And your kid's milkshakes. Really, the next four generations of your progenies' milkshakes.

You set up an argument (a fallacy, really) that to own WD1 is to love/defend its economic merit and to not own it is to decry it with a guy whose WD collection eclipses yours many times o'er.

And now you're doubling down.

You should stop now.

WTF is up with all these memes? I swear, some of you guys make reading this board intolerable.

Isn't a meme post just like scrolling past a sig line if you have no interest in reading them?

You can't turn off memes. lol:frustrated:
