Interestingly, Mike 'Romitaman' Burkey has just offered the Krigstein story, "Revenge" up for sale on his web-site. The story art is on offer broken-up (as separate pages).

 

Those followers of this thread who lean towards a 'stocks and shares' approach to their artwork collecting interests, might like to see what the original $400 purchase price is now worth (or, rather, valued at) - and do the maths . . .

Art Auction Catalog # 39 (October 31 and November 1, 1989), comprising of 16 pages.

 

Of particular interest, here, is the re-emergence of the reclusive Graham 'Ghastly' Ingels (agreeing to create a series of Old Witch paintings exclusively for offer in Russ's catalogs).

 

If Wally Wood was the 'Dean of Science-Fiction', Ingels was his counterpart in the Horror books.
