I'm curious... what were the circumstances under which Master Race was sold? I thought they kept everything up to that point.

I'm curious... what were the circumstances under which Master Race was sold? I thought they kept everything up to that point.

 

Off the top-of-my-head, my understanding was that Bill Gaines gave the art away as a gift to a noted EC fan (possibly John Benson, I'm not sure - I'd have to ask around?).

 

It's currently owned by Stephen Donnelly and is on display in his CAF.
