I was responding to Kong's post

I have heard (unconfirmed) that this will be ongoing now.

yeah I heard this from comic book store dude and couldn't find anything on the google. Nothing more than an unsubstantiated rumor at this point. I probably shouldn't have even relayed it but I was a bit overzealous at the prospect of it.

No problem. I would love to see it as an ongoing b/c the story is really good. And the donkey (weirdly) grows on you and is a strange contrast to the violence and language. Kinda like the Christmas Critters in South Park...

Is there a way to know the print run on the variants? I looked up #1 and it had a total of 32,977 so is that just for the regular cover? If so, then since the variant had a 1:25 ratio, does that mean there are only like 1,319 variants?

The Allred variant of #1 wasn't 1:25. Dealers could order as many as they wanted, although I seem to remember it was solicited late and some dealers didn't order as many. Still, it's not a limited variant per se.

The #2 (Santa) variant is 1:25, I believe.

I just looked and Midtown has it listed as a 1:20 ratio so the variant print run would be around 1,323?

Thanks. The Santa is a cool cover. Would have picked one up if the series was a ongoing (fear it will die quickly after #4 - and hate that because its a good (although gritty) series).
