Under My Submissions, it will show you Status, Order No, Received, and the grades given. They suddenly showed up today.

So...this one tweaks my melon...my Modern Slow Boats from June, July, and September are still in various stages of processing but one of my "October" submissions just blew through...

As a general rule I send my books, know it's going to be forever, forget about it and don't get bothered by other folks with their glory stories of faster than normal processing... but lately it's wearing on me and the above example straight up pisses me off.

So I actually had two separate orders completed today by the end of the day.

The second was a larger order of 40 books (pre-Screen Modern) using CGC's large shipping box if that makes any difference.

Order placed online: October 1, 2021
Received by USPS: October 4, 2021
Delivered to CGC: October 7, 2021

Received: October 15, 2021
Status: Shipped on October 18, 2021 (Monday)

I’m curious. Did you check the grades? How did you do on your pre screen?

I have to admit though. My blood boils with every one of these updates about the new October TATs I see and my submissions screen isn’t getting updated.

For FRACKS SAKE @CGC Comics give us some update on what you are doing with the submissions you AREN’T PROCESSING.

Did something bad happen to our books?

Yes, the grades were listed. First batch were all Killing Jokes in various printings actually and top census for most. Second batch of 40 wasn't as great as I didn't have the usual 10-packs of comics to work from... but these were comics that have ZERO entries on the census, so I was happy with a 9.4 pre-screen on them. (Fair number of 9.8s, more 9.6s.) We'll see if there is any sort of demand for Sonic the Hedgehog. (shrug)

It was an odd submission really.

 

(I still have other submissions in process submitted months ago... some recently placed that still haven't shown up in the control panel yet.)

This is just a hypothetical that I have been reflecting on. 
 

CGC is setting up a new facility. I wonder if they are diverting new moderns to this facility to help alleviate the strain on the main building? It would explain why only newer submissions are getting done so quickly as CGC will not move boxes that are already processed from one facility to another. 
 

Still doesn’t make it right that some of us have been waiting since April for moderns to get done, while others are getting books back that were sent in only a week ago.
