current turn around rates at CGC 80 80

Not to stir up the pot further, but a little bird pointed me in the direction of this most recent change. Not sure if it has been addressed before or not.

 

"CGC guarantees that a comic book encapsulated in a CGC holder is authentic and has been inspected by at least two professionals."

Am I reading too much into this and the 2 "professionals" no longer need to be graders or is the wording CGC used poor.

Yeah, but if the two graders disagree on the grade, who's going to break the tie? They will have to do "Rock, paper, scissors, lizard, Spock."

Well, at one time there were Paul, Mark, West and Steve. I'm guessing with 3 of these 4 gone, changes had to be made.

Maybe this explains the over/under grades. Has CGC always had grade swings depending on the year, or has that been a recent development?

To report some positive news...I sent in a WD1 9.6 for reholdering a crack case....it came back a week later. Super fast!

I went to look at the CGC site the other day, and it came up in my browser. And in under 30 seconds.

 

 

It had longer wait times than I wanted to see. But at least it came up.

Ok I just checked me dealer's account and there are books that have been scheduled for grading since the first week of December....moderns.
