That's right. It was a radical departure from what I'm used to (charged at time of Received).

I haven't posted it yet because it hasn't reached F/I/S status, but I had another submission (Standard) tier, that had a Pressing. I was charged by CCS and then charged by CGC for grading after they received it back from CCS. 

Maybe CGC is changing up how they bill people? I mean, I see the point when you're a dealer who could have thousands of dollars tied up at the front end and have to wait upwards of months before you receive a product back that you can sell.

I just got my Avengers 4 back a couple weeks ago. First submission ever to CGC.  It came back at 5.0 (OW to W) which is what I was expecting. Bought this copy from an LCS in early 90’s for $200. Kept it in the same Mylar sleeve it was in at the LCS all that time. I thought I overpaid but really wanted the copy. Here are a few pics. Cleaned and pressed it myself. (That’s a tape pull on FC in team logo) Enjoy!

Chrispy66's sub of 14 Moderns non-FT is in Grading/QC as of today that were received 10 days prior to yours. Wonder if it's because your sub was only 6? Still...fast!

Greggy should have his own thread about turn around times to not throw off the averages.  His books get graded a couple weeks quicker then anyone else.

I think it’s the quantity of books in the submission otherwise I have no idea.
