That is a really cool article. Man, I'd give anything for the graphics business to be hands-on like it was in the olden days. I only got to do a year or two of waxing pasteups and stat camera stuff before it finally cycled away.

The picture of Marie Severin with a cig butt going inside the office is classic.

 

I remember visiting my dad's office in the late '70s, and the whole place was blue with smoke...he smoked, and so did both of the secretaries. It's a wonder anybody from that era is still alive and kicking!
