Yeah... we should have some announcements in the next week or 2 from creators we spoke to at ECCC.

 

Having nothing to do with those announcements, we did just confirm Dexter Vines, Eric 'Ebas’ Basaldua, Jim Kelly (Enter the Dragon) and Traci Lords to our guest list

Any chance there will be some exclusive variants of books this year? Maybe a Walking Dead #111 Florida Supercon red foil dye pack cardstock hardbound leather variant? :grin:

We are working on some exclusives... I hope to be making some announcements in the next month or so. But yes, that's high on our list of priorities

 

Also, we just added Georges Jeanty (Buffy) and Jorge Molina (X-Men Legacy, X-Men, Avengers: The Initiative) as guests for the show.

Just confirmed Nathan Edmondson as a guest for Florida Supercon

 

Comic book and screenwriter Nathan Edmondson created OLYMPUS with Christian Ward, THE LIGHT with SURROGATES artist Brett Weldele, and the Eisner Nominated WHO IS JAKE ELLIS? with artist Tonci Zonjic as well as its follow up WHERE IS JAKE ELLIS?. He currently pens the ongoing series THE ACTIVITY with artist Mitch Gerads and was the writer for the DC Comics “New 52″ title GRIFTER and Marvel Comics’ ULTIMATE IRON MAN. Edmondson is also the writer on Ubisoft’s SPLINTER CELL: ECHOES graphic novel and DANCER (Image Comics). He has contributed to CLINT MAGAZINE, POPGUN and UNTOLD TALES OF PUNISHER MAX. NPR has listed his recent work among the “Top 6 Comics to Draw You In” and USA Today and CNN are among those who have listed his work in their respective Top 10 lists. I'm really excited to announce that Al Plastino has just been confirmed to appear as a Guest of Honor at Florida Supercon 2013!

 

Al Plastino is a legend in the comic book industry! He is the co-creator of Supergirl and The Legion of Super-Heroes and one of the main Superman artists of the 1950's and 1960's.

 

Al will be sketching at the show. We will have more details soon, including a pre-con commission list, autograph fees, etc...

Jeremy Shada has just been announced as a guest for Florida Supercon 2013.

 

Jeremy Shada is best known as the voice of Finn on Adventure Time, the voice of Robin/ Grayson in Batman: The Brave and the Bold and as young Charlie on Lost.
