Future of comics/graphic novels?

After seeing cinemagraphs and these cool animated covers, I've been waiting for an ambient graphic novel for the iPad. This is the first one I've seen so far. I'm not crazy about the audio, but I love the animation. But, like with 3D, less is probably more.

With most comics on the iPad you can click-zoom a panel, which is uselessly interactive. I'd love just a hint of motion, rather than the full cartoon effect.
