127 posts in this topic

Hello-

I'm not at NYCC 2012, but Mr. Presidente of GC Comics (Jamie) asked if I would kindly post pics of some of his booth treasures :applause: I believe Jamie will post some sort of con report Tuesday...oh wait a minute...Jamie doesn't do con reports lol

Enjoy!

Ben

Cool gathering!

I'm just glad to see some clear pictures of books after my failed attempt of taking wall shots! doh!

+1!!!!!!!!!! But yours were still good enough to get me a lead that may end up getting me a couple of books I've been looking for for a long time.

He asked that pics of his booth be put up for the forum to view. How is that spam? He's at a comic convention and wants to show off. I don't see prices on the books or a post that says contact me if you want a book.

I've seen plenty of spam on this forum that is much worse.

That's just my opinion. I can see yours as well.

It doesn't come across as a little bit...."shady"? (shrug)

I am settling into Dallas life and planning on going to the con that's going to start next weekend. I'll see if there's any of the usual suspects there, but I'm looking forward to meet some new boardies. I really need to make it to SD, Chicago or NYC one of these days.
ah that's right..no more Pacific NW rain but you get hot Texas summers!

I don't mind the summer, but the dang humidity is the only thing that bothers me. One of these days I'll trek down to Houston and visit Mr. Bedrock and his wares.

how far is Houston from you? 2-3 hours?

More like 4 hours. But it's a "quick" 4 hours.

straight shot south?

Pretty much. Just have to cross a bunch of little towns along the way.

I'm in Houston, and went North to Dallas and back a couple of times (Six Flags Over Texas, which is right next to where the Rangers and Cowboys play). . . there is NOTHING along that route.

Come on down! I'm just down the road from one of the Bedrock shops.

all the lame stuff that gets posted on here and when someone post COMICS it gets called spam...lol

I think if you took a poll, most folks in CG don't really collect comics anymore. They just like to complain about collecting comics.
