HG SA Marvels on the cheap, pretty nice stuff.

I've been picking these up randomly over the past few years, but they don't fit in with my collection. I thought about trying the press & flip thing, but I'm too lazy to wait 7 months on CGC. I figured I'd offer them here and hopefully you can fill a hole or make a buck.

The Caps & FF Annual are super sweet and came out of a find that hadn't been seen since the late 70s and are unread.

I've tried to be conservative with my grading on all these, I want you to be happy. PM with any questions. PM an email address for larger scans.

The usual rules apply, first :takeit: in the thread or PM is going to win, but if I'm working something out behind the scenes, I reserve the right to make a judgement call. No probies/HOS. Shipping via USPS priority box is $12 in the US, I'll cover insurance. Outside the US at actual cost.

If you're not happy, send it back within 7 days.

FF Annual 1 is pressed, everything else is un-pressed.

Willing to entertain offers/negotiations and package deals.

I'll be listing some Pre-Hero Marvels and some really nice GA in another thread or two when I get through processing them, so keep your eyes peeled.

Now onto the books!

Captain America

104 – 9.2 to 9.4 OW – stunning glossy book. Easy 9.4 or 9.6 with a press. Light NCB wear keeping it from grading higher. OSPG is $95 in 9.2 so I’ll start there.

107 – 9.4 OW – great copy. Might even upgrade with a press. OSPG is $95 in 9.2, let’s try that.

109 – 9.0 OW – definitely bump up with a press, probably to 9.4 or higher. Just light overall NCB wear. OSPG is $99 in 9.0, again I think this is an easy upgrade. How about $100

FF Annual 1 – 9.0 OW – Very nice copy. Pressed by Matt Nelson who thought it was a 9.2. It may be that nice, but I’d rather be conservative. The only thing really wrong with it is the small bindery chip at the bottom spine. A really sharp book. OSPG is $1234 in 9.0 (… that’s the kind of combination an insufficiently_thoughtful_person would have on their luggage…) . Asking $1100

TTA 54 – 9.0 OW – Might look nicer if it was pressed, but I think the LLC keeps it from really getting much better than 9.0. OSPG is $250 in 9.0 which just sounds too high to me. Let’s go $160.

TTA 93 – 8.0 OW – very nice book. Very close to an 8.5 if not there already. Would look nicer from a press, not sure what that would do to the grade. Hot book, I think $100 is more than fair.

TTA 96 – 9.0 OW – Nearly perfect other than the LRHC which is very subtly rounded. I don’t think a press would benefit this book. OSPG is $69, how about $50
