Name this SF flick.

G'night!

Zombies of the Stratosphere ?

^^

Extra imaginary points for identifying the actor on the far left.

Leonard Nimoy!

I remember when we used to get real points... ;)

Stephen King’s ‘The Mist’ Greenlit at Spike TV

Spike TV has greenlit “The Mist,” ordering 10 hourlong episodes of the series based on Stephen King’s classic horror novella, Variety has learned.

The series goes into production this summer, and is slated for a 2017 debut.

The Viacom-owned cabler ordered a pilot for “The Mist” this February, though after hearing the pitch for the full series, upped the order to series, before producing the pilot.

Near Dark

^^

Imaginary points :whee:

I'll always remember the first time I watched Near Dark... thinking how cool it was they never used the word "vampire".

If I owned a movie theater, I'd have a midnight showing double-feature of Near Dark and Lost Boys.

It would be epic.

I'd need a large cola and an extra big tub of butter popcorn (thumbs u

And possibly one of the systems for "convenient elimination" ... ;)

These are cool. I've seen some theaters that have actual couches.

Pretty sure the bathrooms are still outside though. :)

That looks great! We have something similar in the next town over... it's an old building which has been converted into a cinema with sofas. I don't think you get the 3 course meal though...

lol

I've read all the Anne Rice books and love them.

I always felt that movie was a lot better than the critical reviews.

With the success of TRUE BLOOD and everything Vampyre lately, it seems like a no-brainer that someone should pick up the rights and create a long-running series.
