I started collecting a little late so I'm missing a couple of Batman's allies. Two-face's head broke off due to something falling off the top of my desk. :-(

Anyone know where I can find a board for cheap? Missed the boat when they used to be on Ebay for around $70-80.

Unfortunately the JLA board is going to be cardboard :-( -- such a shame since the quality of the pieces themselves have been so nice.

 

Good thing: chess board is being included for free with one of the figures.

 

Bad thing: who wants a crappy cardboard board when you have such nice pieces?

I'm happy with the figures, although I think they made Azrael too wide. He is going to infringe upon other board space. Definitely a piece you want to keep on the A or H file.

thats why i didn't get this one, i wouldn't pay that for a chess set, especially when i have a 3 year old who would definitely break all the pieces

OK, only one piece left so I thought I would share my pictures.

 

1) cause the set is super awesome and 2) I just got a new fancy camera and decided this would be the first subject of my initial pictures.

 

I'm not very good, and these settings for the camera are "out of box" - but hopefully by the time I get the last figure in I'll have learned a bit more on how to take better pictures :-)
