Silverdream
Over 200 for a 3.5!? http://www.mycomicshop.com/search?ItemID=26315582 Does that look anywhere near a 3.5? Based on how MCS grades books, if it has a sticker on it, a NM cannot grade higher than a 4.0. I think that is the correct thing to do. They grade it as if the sticker was a large tape pull, or hole. Now if you think you can get the sticker off... which is obviously what these bidders were hoping for, more power to them. Unfortunately, if you look at the scans closely, there is some kind of scraping going on near the middle of the spine on the front cover, add in a few spine ticks and a tiny tear on the back cover and that book is no better than a 6.0 -7.0 with the sticker perfectly removed, which just shows the inexperience of the bidders. kimik
I was pleased with the result of this submission. I was not expecting an upgrade on my other HG copy (9.6) but was glad to see it. Edited November 4, 2014 by kimik

kimik
While there are plenty of copies, the demand is higher. NM #98 has been an easy sell at above OSPG prices/full GPA for raw books the past few years now. It is like ASM #300 - you put them on the wall and they sell. If this book follows the same pattern virtually every other movie related book has, we will see an initial big jump, followed by a plateau/slight pull back to a new high, then closer to the movie another decent jump, followed by slower growth from there. kimik
Shouldn't a Leifeld SS book sell for less than an untarnished one?

DeadpoolJr.
Shouldn't a Leifeld SS book sell for less than an untarnished one? (thumbs u Shouldn't a Stan Lee signed one go for even less than that, since he didn't even have anything to do with the characters, and comic? AlexanderM
I'm pretty strictly a GA and SA collector. However, when I look at newer books nm98 is without a doubt the most attractive book of them all. Just two cents from a guy who probably has never been to the copper forum before.
