PGM: ASM 129

I picked this one up on ebay, and I am feeling disappointed. It was advertised as Very Fine condition, but I am unsure whether it would even grade as Fine condition. There are two large creases on the upper right hand portion. Let me know what you think, as I am considering seeking to return it.

I contacted the seller to verify condition: rips, tears, etc. and no mention of the creases was made

Re-scan the entire book. Then we can give a good guess as to it's grade. No way this book is anywhere near a VF or a Fine for that matter. Somewhere in the VG range is more likely. Return the book if you can. Not as advertised would be the reason for the return.

Color-breaking creases are a kiss of death. You're looking at a 4.5 or a 5.0 -- I would tip the pendulum toward a 4.5. It hurts to get screwed like that. Return it, and be prepared to give blistering negative feedback if the seller does not work with you. Night-and-day difference between a VG+ and a VF.

The following description contains at least two misstatements, if not outright misrepresentations:

"Condition is flawless, has been well looked after and would personally grade as very fine. Comic lays flat and has no visible wear and tear." Really?

The description is way off, but did you even look at the pictures? That spine is visible without zooming in. I hope you can get a refund but there is a lesson to be learned.
