Show me your GA Quarter books

Haven't got too many, but this is loaded in 'Bucket and I really like it:

A really great cover. However, not a well thought out plan. I would think lighting your targets on fire while a comrade continues to spray them with gasoline as he stands next to the gas pump just might end badly.

But I love the cover. This needs one of those "10 seconds later" treatments.

Great books everybody!

I especially like the phone booth Almanac of Crime and Complete Book of True Crime.

Does the True Crime book have rebound copies of CDNP or is it reprints? It's never been clear to me what exactly is the case.

I didn't realize that the Fox Giant contents could be so random - mixing in Jungle, Romance and Crime under a crime cover.

Are their crime books bound in some of the Romance Giants? - I can just imagine what the reader would have thought.

Must admit that I do not have one 25 cent book in my collection.

I have some 15 centers like COMIC CAVALCADES and WORLD'S

FINEST...but spending 25 cents at the newsstand was just to much...

there were so many other things you could buy with a quarter.

I love this post, mm. Kind of like opening a time capsule.

If you only knew how hard it was to earn a quarter...it was shining

at least two pair of shoes or selling five, month old Women's Days

from the A&P to the local beauty parlor or delivering five pieces of

25 cent ice to the neighbors...but I loved every minute of it.

It's like a small phonebook lol

It is made up of Might Mouse comics with many, many individual stories so I would not call it a graphic novel. The Board determined that it's the second biggest but I don't recall what that issue is.

I'm still extremely grateful to fellow Boardie Alanna for allowing me to purchase this marvelous copy. (worship)
