Yeah, I was trying to put together a nice NM raw set for a time, but eventually gave it up. I think it was Heathcliff that was the real pain.

I've found a couple a couple Heathcliff the past couple of years. As well as Porker. Never found a Muppet Babies though. I'm surprised the Transformers isn't more popular. Must be more readily available.

These are a perfect example of very niche books with both buyers and sellers. I don't think they sell high except for on the bay.

Ok,ok - Just picked up a nice Cloak & Dagger PF

Nice touch with the 'Tec 68 just layin' around :golfclap:

And Alf 48 with the seal beneath that...

It's like a "Where's Waldo" of comics.

I’ve found all except Muppet Babies and Ewoks for $1 or less in the wild.

That is art in and of itself - great job!

I wish I was collecting in 1986. It would have been such a thrill to see an entire display with nothing but 25th anniversary covers.

Looking back on those covers now is like a nostalgiagasm. So much has changed since then [Abe Simpson] and not for the better [/Abe Simpson]

We talked about this a little bit in the Star thread.  The Star books (including the MOTU) are tougher in proportion to the super hero books.  But anyone who was collecting/hoarding Star books on the if/come has tons of them.

Definitely. UXM #211is the first book I bought. I think I still have that copy tucked away someplace - the classic 25th anniversary border drew me to it as an 11yo and started my comic addiction. I think I bought all of the other 25th anniversary covers I could find after that since they looked so cool together.

The 25th Anniversary issue of New Mutants is one of my favorite stand alone comic issues. Great story!

Just reread that the other day, after reading the above posts. (thumbsu
