That spoiler was about what I would have expected. Pretty predictable.

 

I can't say I'm upset I ended my ASM run at 700. That's 3.99 a month I can put towards SA and BA instead. Modern comics are making it easier and easier for people like me to make that call.

Scenarios for the next few issues:

 

Our 'new' Spidey gets it on with MJ and most readers cringe as Marvel takes perversion to a new level.

 

That is until he hooks up with Aunt May and Ock reminisces about their saucy past in the good old days of the bronze age.

 

Ock becomes a better man as Peter's ghostly influence convinces him of the errors of his past.

My opinion:

I enjoyed Superior Spider-Man #1 and will continue reading. Dan Slott has made Spidey stories fun and exciting again.
