More often than not they do ship to me. The reasons vary including "Of course I'll ship to Canada. I just won't ship international". ;)

I'd say over 80% of the time they will sell if you ask, and half of the time they say some version of that.

 

Though recently i had a funny exchange with a real piece of work. He had listed in his auction "no international shipping", so I PM'd him if he would do Canada, and what his combined shipping rate was for multiple wins.

 

"Yes, I will ship to Canada but it will cost more, No I do not combine shipping"

 

lol wut? And i think he was charging like 8 dollars a book to Americans already, with no combined shipping?? wow...

I don't think I've ever been told no by a seller, except for those who write it in their listing description. Those guys I don't bother asking, just keep my money in my pocket.

 

Most of the time it's just a seller who hasn't filled out any international shipping options on their listing.
