My Farewell to the Boards

Every since NewtSamson started posting about a member leaving on the 5th of August....I knew he was talking about.....me!

 

It's been fun these last few months, but the joy has been tempered by the tears I've shed from the endless taunts about my avatar's weight, his dependence on "the pop", and his near-sightedness. I would mention both Redhook and Aman as being among the mob that found it sport to mock me.

 

I don't have any ex-porno-star girlfriends, or near complete collections of DCs or Marvels. I don't know why Greggy chose to hurl invectives at me at every turn. FFB has trolled me from my first appearance, and CGC consistantly undergrades my submissions on purpose, because...they know they can. Zeman pretends to like me, and Deathlok is only waiting until I feel secure in his presence to deliver the killing blow. If Vinny continues to ignore proper board etiquette and use Comics General to shill his enterprise, I think my brain will explode. Dice X just couldn't find the time to pull up the sound file that might lend me comfort in my hour of need. POV....well, what is there to say about POV? Dear sweet old Pov.........dear sweet ...very very old POV. DAM60, nice to everyone but me. And Redhook, well, the smug basstard couldn't find ten minutes to zap up a Photoshop file of me! Damn your eyes, Redhook!

 

And when I wanted to start a memorial thread to my puppy Lockjaw......that single post hung there like the solitary mournful piccolo note at the end of a Beethovan movement.

 

I would like to thank my supporters,.......The Brain....Codfish......RS..........these are the true gentlemen of the boards. JC poked occassional fun at me, but I knew there was love in his heart.

 

So this isn't just a casual goodbye, it's a final farewell. And when you think of me.....think of me kindly.

 

Screw you guys........I'm...going home!
